Winter is here and boy is the winter cold brutal. Since I have been home we have had plenty of snowy days, winter weather advisories, and frozen temperatures. There even have been a few days where the St. Louis weather has been in the negatives. (Brrrrrrr!) Though the last few days haven’t been in the negatives, the temperature has only been between 8-10 degrees Fahrenheit. Luckily, by the end of the week, we are expecting the temperatures to be well into the mid to low 20s.

A few weekends ago, I traveled back to Mississippi to reconnect with a few friends and take my brother back to Mississippi State. On the way back from our travels I wore my new Kensie Peplum Coat. This coat has quickly become one of my favorite coats to wear this season and has been on constant repeat. The peplum and ruffle detail at the bottom adds a feminine touch to the already structured coat. I paired the look with my Express skinny jeans and my Bandolino camel boots.
Other Favorite Coat Styles
I really love wearing fur coats and the lighter insulated puffer coats during the winter. Both styles do a great job at keeping me warm during the cold and brutal temps, plus the stylishness of them is an added bonus. I am currently wanting these fur coats (one and two) and these puffer coats (one and two).
