Oxford Roadtrip

Last Friday, I accompanied my mom in dropping my younger brother off at Mississippi State. After we dropped him off and bid our farewells, my mom and I headed to Oxford for a fun day of shopping and catching up with old friends. If you ever find yourself in Oxford, Mississippi I highly recommend eating a meal at Ajax Diner. It is renowned for its delicious southern and soul food style dishes by many and every year is highly rated by magazines and other publications. I have been there many many times and I always recommend the diner to visitors, who also love it! Ajax seriously has some of the best southern food in Oxford and Mississippi in general.

On the day we were in Oxford, Ole Miss was playing Mississippi State in a basketball game. To show my support while still looking stylish, I wore this Missguided Black Varsity Jacket (also comes in grey). I am extremely happy with this recent purchase as for a while I have been on the hunt for the “perfect” varsity jacket. I always wanted a varsity jacket that was trendy yet timeless where I could wear it for a few years and it still be in style. When I first saw this jacket go on sale, I immediately purchased it. It was the perfect varsity jacket for me as the solid black color will never go out of style, the high glossiness of the jacket is both edgy and trendy, while the red and blue stripes on the collar and sleeves showed my Ole Miss support without being too “festive”.

I styled my varsity jacket in a monochromatic way by styling it with over the knee boots (similar here and here) and my Express black skinny jeans.
