Fall Essentials

Fall Essentials

Fall is officially here! Yayy, I am so excited for the new seasonal change. The weather in Salerno, Italy has already started to change and I couldn’t be more happy to start wearing layers, getting cozy in a comfy blanket, drinking hot tea/cocoa and seeing the leaves change colors. To celebrate fall, I decided to share a few of my fall must haves…enjoy!

Sweaters

Comfortable sweaters are quintessential in any fall wardrobe. I love to wear sweaters that are both cozy and stylish. I have this pink Free People sweater and this cream BP tiered sleeved one currently sitting in my wishlist.

Jackets and Coats

As the weather gets cooler and cooler as the season progresses, a warm jacket or coat is a fall season must. I prefer to always have at least a coat in a neutral hue (like thisthis, or this), a printed or color-blocked one (like this and this), a denim one (like this), and a furry one (like this and this).

Dresses

All year long, I LOVE to wear dresses and after months of wearing pastel and soft colors I love wearing the autumnal colors of dark greens and pinks, marigold, burgundy, and burnt orange and red. As a lover of all things colorful I continue to add printed and colorful dresses to my wardrobe (like this and this). During these cooler months, I style my dresses with jackets (especially leather and denim), tights, and over the knee and ankle boots.

Jeans and Pants

I love that I can now wear my pants, leggings, and jeans without burning up. My favorite right now are these sequin Tularosa pants, these brown Free People leggings, and these gingham trousers (now 50% off).

Boots and Handbags

Boots are always a stable for the cooler seasons. In the past I have been only into purchasing boots in black or camel, but as my style has evolved over the years I have lately been into colorful boots like these blue over-the-knee boots, these white ones, these pink ones, and these jacquard printed ankle boots.  As far as handbags go I still wear my stable styles but in more seasonal fabrics (like velvet) and fall colors (like burgundy and brown).
